Some wines are born from inspiration. This one was born from obsession. After years of crafting Sauvignon Blanc behind the scenes, Rob Lloyd brings his signature touch to center stage. When longtime collaborator Sangiacomo Vineyards planted a test block of Sauvignon Blanc in Carneros, Rob knew the moment had come. He split the block with them, waited for the ideal ripening window, and harvested on his birthday - September 7 - just as the white peach flavors reached their peak. The result: a Sauvignon Blanc with soul, structure, and summer in every sip.
Pale straw in the glass with a shimmering, youthful edge. Aromas of citrus blossom, gooseberry, and white peach leap from the glass, followed by a vibrant palate of lime zest, crushed stone, and ripe tropical fruit. The finish is crisp, clean, and mouthwatering - built to refresh.
This zesty white is a natural match for goat cheese crostini, snapper ceviche or shrimp aguachile, grilled zucchini, squash, or asparagus, and chilled crab salad or oysters on the half shell. It’s also right at home beside poolside afternoons and warm summer nights.
Our inaugural Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from a small test block at the esteemed Sangiacomo Vineyards in Carneros - a longtime Lloyd collaborator known for meticulous farming and premium fruit. The cool, coastal climate of Carneros, with its foggy mornings and breezy afternoons, allows the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, preserving bright acidity and aromatic complexity. The result is a vibrant, expressive Sauvignon Blanc with layered notes of citrus, stone fruit, and fresh herbs.
100% Sauvignon Blanc. Fermented at low temperatures to preserve aromatics and freshness, the wine was split between stainless steel for purity, a cement egg for texture and minerality, and one neutral barrel for depth. No malolactic fermentation - just clean, precise winemaking with Rob’s hallmark balance.
