Some wines are made for the season. This one was made for the moment. Rob Lloyd has been crafting Rosé for years, but this vintage takes it to another level - capturing the elegance of Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir in its brightest, most expressive form. From this cool-climate region, where ocean breezes and long growing days coax Pinot Noir to perfection, Rob hand-selected the fruit and pressed gently to preserve its delicate aromatics.

The 2024 harvest delivered just what he envisioned: wild strawberry and white cherry notes lifted by refreshing acidity and a finish that lingers like a sunset on the coast.

Only 70 cases were made, making this Rosé as rare as it is remarkable.

Tasting Notes

A vibrant Rosé with aromas of wild strawberry, white cherry, and a hint of coastal minerality. On the palate, crisp acidity balances juicy red berry flavors, leading to a clean, refreshing finish that lingers like a summer evening.

Food Pairing Suggestions

This Rosé was made for easy, sun-soaked pairings. It shines alongside fresh seafood like oysters, shrimp, or grilled salmon, balances beautifully with summer salads layered with citrus or goat cheese, and complements charcuterie boards loaded with prosciutto and soft cheeses. It also pairs effortlessly with light pasta dishes and Mediterranean-inspired fare like grilled chicken, hummus, and warm flatbread - perfect for lingering afternoons or golden-hour gatherings.

Vineyard

This Rosé comes exclusively from La Viña Vineyard in the renowned Sta. Rita Hills AVA, where cool Pacific breezes and marine-influenced soils create an ideal environment for growing world-class Pinot Noir. The vineyard’s combination of long, sun-filled days and crisp coastal nights allows the fruit to develop vibrant acidity and layered flavors - the perfect foundation for an elegant, expressive Rosé.

Production Method

The fruit was gently whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve its bright aromatics and crisp character. To protect the wine from oxygen and add a subtle roundness, it was aged briefly in used Chardonnay barrels -a touch that brings balance and texture without overt oak influence.
