A citrusy twist on a summer classic. These Baja-style fish tacos are bright, refreshing, and made for poolside sipping. Pair with our crisp, citrus-forward Prescription Chardonnay for a match made in sunny-day heaven.

Ingredients

For the Fish:

1 lb white fish (mahi-mahi, cod, or halibut)

Juice of 2 limes

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Slaw:

2 cups shredded cabbage

1/4 cup chopped cilantro

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp orange juice

1 tbsp lime juice

Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. In a shallow dish, marinate fish with lime juice, oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper for 15 minutes.
  2. While the fish marinates, combine all slaw ingredients in a bowl and toss to coat.
  3. Grill fish on medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side, until opaque and flaky.
  4. Warm tortillas and assemble tacos with grilled fish and slaw. Serve immediately with a chilled glass of Prescription Chardonnay.
